I have a 1998 Mercury 225 EFI on my bass boat. It's always been a good reliable motor for me. I was going to go fishing this afternoon so I got the boat out and hooked the muffs and garden hose to it. Battery was charged overnight and I cleaned the cables because I know these motors can be picky about voltage. Spark plugs are new, the primer bulb is tight, kill switch set to RUN. Motor is turning over nice and strong but won't hit. What the heck could be the problem???
