Looking to re-power my boat whithin the next couple of months. Does anyone know of a dealer that has GREAT prices on Mercury motors that will ship?? Best deal I've found so far has been right at 14k.

Do you want just the motor? What about controls and gauges etc? I'm sure you'll prop it when you get it rigged.

20" I assume....

Re: 225 Optimax Pro XS

Haven't been able to get a price for everything, only the motor. There was one place that gave me a rough price rigged. It's actually a 25". Trying to locate the part numbers/items needed to get it rigged. I don't want to leave my boat at the dealership because it's 6 hours away. There is a local guy who is going to rig it for me. Not sure all the components I need but this is what I have so far.

Gauges Diagnostic/Trim/Tach???/Spedo??? (Trying to determine which gauges I can keep on my boat. I have a speedo, h2o, tach, fuel, and Suzy diag.)
Oil Tank
Key switch/harness
Throttle (cables not needed because they will be ordered when being rigged).

Looks like I'm buying the motor out of Texas.... right at 14k for it. Propping shouldn't be a problem either as I have several friends with plenty of higher pitched props for me to run. I have 6 of my own but only think one of them may work, but I say that with sarcasm.

Forgot to mention that the dealer that gave me the rough rigged price asked $18500. He was supposed to e-mail me but hasn't yet.
