Am thinking of repowering my 11 yr old Yamaha 225. Cannot afford a current model Yam, but would like some sort of DFI technology. Have seen some more reasonable prices on rebuilt Merc Optimaxes. Can you tell me if this technology had teething problems like the Ficht or are they basically reliable? Or is it too early to tell?
