I know you know this Rodbolt. You are the man when it comes to these things.:)

The precision blend system has been removed on my motor some time ago.
I didnt do that...

But the internal tank and pump where still there. Now Ive removed those as well.

Now that the tank is gone I need to connect some of the wires, so the alarm and the rpm reduction wont go off.

The way it was solved with the tank still there, was that the level switch was taped to the top. Making the ymis think the tank was full.

Which one of the wires should I connect with each other to avoid alarm and rpm reduction?

The colors are:
-Black
-Blue with green stripe
-Blue with white stripe
-Blue with red stripe

There are actually two "blue with red stripe" wires coming out of the YMIS. But they are connected together making one.

If you could tell me what the different colors are, it would make me a very happy man.:D

Im guessing I should connect the blue/white with black. Am I correct?;)

Arne :)

I connected the black wire to the blue/white. But I got the alarm from the remote when i reved the motor. I havent tried to put it in gear yet.
But the alarm sounds when the revs got up to about 1400rpm. That is if the tach is correct.
Its only the alarm. No rpm reduction.

What am I doing wrong?

what visual indicates are you getting? RPM reduction wont work below about 2000 RPM.

But I think those visual indicaters has always been there. Isnt that for the external system? Ive never had that system installed.

I tried to disconnect the wires, and the symptomes staied the same. The alarm sounds the same way at the same rpm.

I ohmed the black wire to ground, and it was 0 ohm. Shortcut. So the black wire is true ground.

But is it the blu/white Im supposed to ground?

There are actually two "blue with red stripe" wires coming out of the YMIS. But they are connected together making one.

I think I got it. I reconnected the blue/red with the other blue/red, and the alarm stopped.

So now the black wire is connected with the blue/white, and the two blue/red wires are connected with each other.

I hope thats the end of it. :D

Ill know more when i get to test the boat out on the water.
