I have a 225txcub. Would like to take off the old VRO fuel pump and replace it with a old type pump. Can this be done? If so what fuel pump model and type should I use? Also if you have done this before how was the proformance of the engine once you replaced it?
The old VRO pump has so many falure points, seems like the older ones were more bulet proof.
Also for your info, I am pre-mixing oil with fuel.
First pic is a old school pump, second pic is a vro pump.
