Post picture of the cowling if original.-----Need to know why the carburetor kits >-----What is your motor doing / not doing ?
I believe the cowling to be original.
Currently it will startup the first or second key turn. It will rev up for a second or two then comeback down and then die. It runs a total of 15 seconds max through this process. Not sure if it matters but is has a hot foot hooked up to it.
Then when trying to start after that first time it won't after that or it will spark 1 or 2 times. Come back the next day and it will start up the first or second crank and then die again. Only thing I can personally think of is that the float is not shutting off the fuel feed in one or two of the carbs and causing it to die? Like it's flooding out? (Not sure if that's the proper term.)
I have attched many pictures of the engine.
On a side note what is this hole for on the carb? When I pump the bulb fuel comes out of only one of the carbs in the hole circled.
