Thought I'd start a thread about those good ol' Novas. I had a 1985 model from '86 until '04. That's a looooong time to have a boat. They were tough, good looking boats. Loved how she handled the rough Chesapeake waters. I still miss her and wonder if maybe I should've somehow kept her......<br /><br />Any others out there with stories or memories about Novas?

They were derived from the Donzi 7 Meter. However, the Wellcraft Nova 23 has some different lines.

I just recently purchased a 1979 200XL, how do those differ from the Novas?

Bought a 91 Nova 23 this summer.... I love it! Have to repair pins/bushings thought - some slop going on.
