In addition to looking at bigger boats, we're also considering a bigger (than my walleye boat) boat that is still "trailerable". I found a 1980 24' Grady White Weekender on the net, but am having trouble finding much information about this particular model. The one I found for sale looks like it needs quite a bit of work, but I haven't seen it in person yet as it is located about a 4 hour drive from where I live. Assuming it is solid, we would still be up for the project if we could buy it "right". Anybody have any info and/or experience with this or similar Grady models? Thanks!

I'm in the process of buying a 1982 25' Grady White Wahoo (straight inboard model), provided it passes the sea trial. Go to the Grady website and hit the "Contact Us" field. Ask for them to email you some info. They mailed me a whole bunch of pictures, out of the original manual. Of all 4 25' models from that year. Good Luck!

Thanks Capt'n Mike, I'll do that. This one has an OMC I/O I think, and I believe it's a 305.

I just found the email they sent me, if you want it send a blank email to mtowey@analogic.com. Its a foot more on the length, as well as the beam. When you go onto Grady's site you have to give them some info, in the "comment" field I told them the year and model I was looking at and asked them to send me any info they had...... Good Luck!

Yep, I already did it and got my confirmation e-mail back. Thanks again for the tip! So when is your sea trial?

Sometime early May, boat's 80 percent paid for but I have the option to bail if the engine or hull fail. First run's gonna be 100 miles down the coast of Maine! Sure will be nice to see it out on my mooring....... ;)
