I have a similar boat to yours that I just took my cap off of the hull to see how I did mine. I cant see some of your pictures but am subscribing to follow along.

Finally got to see some pictures. You were not kidding about gelcoat hairline fractures all over. Im going to take Woods advice and paint mine with automotive paint.

Last time my boat was registered was back in 92 lol she's a major project maybe not as bad as others but still alot of work but will be super nice when I'm done an she will have a nice dry house to stay in also

Center helm deck is now out now time to start removing the main deck floor this should be interesting to say the least

@ woodonglass I made a booboo an cut threw the fiberglass deck if the middle helmtaking the ply core out where can I get the stuff to make the deck look like the rest . Or how do I do it

I was just wondering about making a mold to fix the areas they are very small where I cut a little deeper with the vibrating saw

You can probably get it done with peanut butter and chopped glass to fill in the cuts.

I forgot BC the booboo pic lol . Anyways do any of y'all by chance know how many sheets of 3/4" ply I should need to replace my stringers . I'm at the beach on vac an the marine ply is much much cheaper here than at home

How Tall are your stringers? How Long? One sheet of 1/2 plywood will yield 2 - 12ft stringers X 8" tall X 1" thick.

Hmm I was thinking they were 3/4" thick ply cores . I have a friend that's going to go by my house an measure for me I forgot to like a idiot

Well got the old gas drained out yesterday an gas tank removed . Damn wellcraft sucks balls . The ply under tank had glass tabs all around the edge's maybe 4-6" from walls an then ply was just there not glass or anything over It . An naturally it's all rotten like about all the wood in this boat . When I'm done it should be in better shape than the day it left the factory
