I wouldn't run it if i were you it could do damage to the motor gas loses octane as it sits and could do bad things to the motor i just bought a boat with 2 year old gas and a marine mechanic told me to drain it or it could be bad for the motor and i'm not willing to pay for a new one!

BTDT. Add some 3 year old outboard gas to a almost full tank on my pickup. Eventually had to have truck my injectors cleaned for a price that was much greater than a new tank of gas.

Yeah, folks still refuse to get rid of fuel a moron knows is bad and they didn't pay for, and the same guy had a comment about 12v pumps blowing up and all. Like there aren't 12v pumps inside millions of gas tanks. Sorry, I just couldn't help myself ... :facepalm:

I use old gas like this to clean parts. Unfortunately, there are some who would advise against that. But I've tinkered with engines and used old and new gas for parts cleaning, for just over 30 years now, so I'm certified to be crazy.

Back in the good old days, I liked to dump it in the center of a country road and tight it on fire and drive off, but trust me.....anyone in the right mind will definately advise against that.

Get it all out of the boat and dispose of it properly.
No amount of fuel additives will make bad gas good.

Put it in some old gas jugs and stick it beside the road with a sign that reads " OLD GAS FREE " and watch how fast it gets properly disposed of "-)
