25 hp evinrude ramsacks

i am snow birding in east texas from indiana and bought a boat thats been sitting for a long time in a semi-rat community on lake palistine here in east tx - the ole boy passed and the neighborhood ram-sacked his cabin and
(my boat now), the boat is a 1977 arrow glass -15 ft. tarpon 5 o/b with a
25 hp evinrude electric start(a plus for a old gm retired guy).
since ordering a seloc manual and the on-line manual i've learned they
ram-sacked his boat too!!!(my boat now) ho-ho-ho,
the motor is a 1977 25 h/p-numbers--25753s and the coils and the power pack is gone!~! the 4 wire plug comes out from under the flywheel and thats it--- so i've got to have from that 4 plug wire out -- i can see where the
2 coils must seat but can-not see where the power pack bolts onto it--is there a plate under the coils or something????the pics in the manual dont show that part of the set up!!! i gues the q;l;;uestion is where does the power pack sit??? and is mallory the best stufff to buy from iboats???
buy the way i/ve got the same problem as jhester on that 1977 boat

You may want to consider buying an Original Equipment Manufacturer service manual specifically for your motor. You can usually find one on eBay for around $30. That manual has numerous pictures and descriptions specific to your motor. Judging from your description of the motor you are going to need this manual to get that motor running.

coil bolt on the opposite side of the head from the coils. ranking, #1 CDI #2 SIERRA #3 MALLORY

thank u for that daddy - i see 1 bolt hole over there so there must be a holder over there for a 2 bolt power pack!!! and yes i am a retired uaw worker !!and will support american made stuff!!!!
