i am no pro bt ill give some info on this,had basically same problem.clean carbs good,use sea foam in fuel to clean any gunk missed,make sure there is good spark to both cylinders(using open air spark tester) 7/16 set it at..while running pull plug wire off each cylinder.what happens.i had same problem.coil was bad on lower cylinder,then had to change reeds cause one was broke.

My parts don?t come in till Monday so I can?t do anything yet. One more question I have about fuel problems. The hose connector that connects to the fuel tank is kind of a pain to get on and off (I think it might not be getting a great connection sometimes). Could this be a problem like we were explaining above? I?m guessing it could stop the fuel flow and not allow the motor to run right just like the fuel pump would.
