25 mariner parts

I have a 1997 25 hp Mariner serial# 06490408 that I want to get a carb kit and impeller kit for..my problem...I look at the parts dealers and it has different parts listed for the same year...how do I know what to get? Thanks

S/N 06490408 comes up as a model:

1035524 MERCURY 1984 35

Can you check that 06490408 may actually be 0G490408 which comes up as a model:

7025201FD MARINER 1997 25
