Check out your picture that I edit below. I have circled the are where I believe the location of the plug.

This plug is a square drive 3/8". My guess is that the the plug is not leaking out "under pressure", but rather from the splash o of the oil into the valve cover area.

If memory serves me correctly, the area you marked in the picture is for the temp sender. This particular head had provisions for the sender to be in the head, the engine for the boat is designed for the sender to be in the thermostat housing. I simply plugged that hole with a brass pipe plug. Sorry - but your oil leak cannot be there. Here's a closer picture:

Doggone it!!!!

I thought I had it.

Any other ideas?

I am going to rtv the Head to valve cover gasket connection and try it again, thanks.
