Thanks to the gentlemen who replied to my previous post on this engine. We will be getting a manual on the way, a water pump kit and repait job figured out how to do, and a set of points and condensers and plugs for good measure.<br /><br />One thing that is AWOL that I don't know if it will be easy to find is the silencer, pad, and plate. We have nothing from the carb mouth out. I prefer to do business between gentlemen, or at least scalawags, and stay off of ebay. Does anyone know where to find such a thing?

Try TwinCity Outboard or SeaWay marine Bill. Both have web sites and do a lot in used parts.

bill in 150 transactions on ebay i've only been burnt twice. not bad odds for the savings and availablitiy..always use paypal, and if skeptical about item used paypals guarantee. you have to ask the right questions and look at there feedback.
