Hey guys...just purchased a 1987 25hp johnson. It is incredibly clean, fires up immediately, and runs well. I was just wondering, as i know that some rudes in the 80's were sketchy, if anyone has had problems with this motor etc.
I guess i shouldve put know in quotations....I say that only cuz my uncle had some problems with his 40hp build in the 80's and a family friend had issues with his. but given what ur saying jb i guess ill put those down as the minority. i now feel very confident in my "new" motor. I just made a far too broad assumption. thanks for clearing that up jb
