Re: 26' - 28' command bridge
Hi Magster, A couple of years ago, I moved up from a 20' to 27'. Boy what a difference. It was almost like learning how to operate a boat all over again. The bigger boats are fun, but they have draw backs as well. IMHO boats over 24' are ones that need to have a sesonal dock. Just a bit to large to be trailering with. The loading/unloading is a pain also. Then not thinking about the extra square footage of hull area that needs to be washed and cleaned.

Mine has an 8'6" beam. While on the bridge it seems to be somewhat unstable. The wider beams with a bridge are alot more stable in rough water. However the wider beams sometimes require permits to trailer them. It is all what you want in a boat, what your willing to give up for the benefits of the larger boat. I like my boat alot, but I still have some regrets on getting it. Last season was great even when my engine wasn't 100%. And that alone is why I am going to go back to the same place again this spring. We loved it dearly. Good Luck on your find.
