Haven't used one like that so I really can't say. It's nat the same size you would typically see in a marine set up. Below is a pic of a typical windage tray, simular but not origional mercruiser. The one in you pic may be for special pan applications like corvetts, ect. not real sure. Also if you running an auto style pan you may have to do some modifications to the pan to allow room for the tray.
