I had a new shift cable installed last week at the marina whee I launch. The original broke at the pier. About 2 hours run time later the boat quit pulling and made a whinning sound. I have no reverse or forward. If I put the shiftr in forward I can not spin the prop CCW but I can spin it cw. <br />Can the shift cable cause a boat to come out of gear like this? If it can, do I disconnect the new cable at the shift plate and try to manually shift into gear or what?<br />Nick
