Re: 2807 Riviera

Hi! We have an 84 Riviera which we really love. We've been doing some work on it lately and are glad to have another Riviera owner online. What model is your boat? The picture looks really nice! The porthole awnings look really nice as well. We're looking for some replacement windows but are having a difficult time finding them.

We're running 351 Ford Windsors. What engine configuration are you running?

We'd like to swap info if you're amenable.

Re: 2807 Riviera

Sorry for the late response. I haven't been on this for a while and lost track.

I will be happy to swap info. Anything in particular?

The awnings on the front were removed because they interfered with the walkway. The aft are still there and work well when it is raining.

We have Crusader 220s in ours and they serve nicely. We were on the Erie Canal (10 MPH speed limit) last year and were able to run 1 engine at 1,000 RPM to get to Hull speed
(7-1/2 MPH or 6-1/2 Knots). At that speed we achieved a burn rate of less than 2 GPH, which rivals Trawlers.

You can e-mail me (rmmpe 'at' yahoo.com)

Unfortunately, our plans have changed due to illness and we are selling our Riviera.
If you know anyone looking for a Riv, our price of $20,000.00 is outstanding for the excellent condition it's in (photo at top of page).
