290 Coastal fish boxes

Hello,

Has anyone come up with a way to keep water out of the fish boxes in the cockpit. Mine are always filing with water.

I use weather stripping foam on the lids. It helps 95%. They will still get some water in them after hosing the boat. 90 percent improvement.

I have a 2003 290 with rain leaks in the fwd V-berth overhead. Do you have this problem? Thanks for the info on the fish boxes. I'll do that.
