When I shut the motor off one bank 3 cylinders continue to fire and the engine won’t shut off. It did this last year but was fixed when I replaced the power pack. I have a wiring diagram and will be doing some testing today. My plan is to test for continuity to ground at the power packs when the key is off. Has anyone experienced anything like this?

Update, I found I have a bad ground on one of the power packs. I traced the black and yellow back to the big red connector and it is bad leaving that connector. Looking at the diagram it appears both black and yellow leaving the connector share a pin in the connector. I’m guessing the problem is in the connector itself. The ground going back to the ignition and other power pack is fine. I’m debating soldering the one black and yellow into the one that is good at the connector. Thoughts?

Try a small Phillips screwdriver in the female side of the plug at the relevant wire, and sandpaper the male side until shiny. Spray both with electrical cleaner.

See if that solves the problem.
