2bbl carb rebuild kit #????

I am having the carb rebuilt for a second time, the first i took it to a shop and they did it, now i am having a racing buddy do it. i bought what i thought was the right kit but it wasnt. any one know what the right part number is from mercury so i can order the right one???? it is a 96 5.7 mercrusier with 2bbl rochester with the thunderbolt V, and if you dont know, what info do i need when i call the dealership for the number???

You could go to the top and download the manuel for your engine in the stickies section of this forum to tell tou the i.d. # or look on the cab for a I.D # it should be around 10 digits with any luck your engine will only have been manufactured with 1 style carb my inline 4 had a possible 3 and my i.d. tag is missing. But anyway the manuel is free and priceless thanks to the Don.
