Yup.... downsized. The bass boat and the tower of power just left the yard. I really have mixed emotions because it was in perfect shape. :redface:

I still have my 14' Starcraft to fish with.

Please dont tell me it was because of the gas prices....Lord knows I dont want to start another gas price thread but lets not sell our boats because of this nonsense.

Actually not because of Gas.....

Too many toys. I am thrilled that I will have two less DMV registrations.

I was up to 4 trailers, 2 boats, 3 atv's, 4 vehicles and everthing gets registered! $40 here.... $60 there and I was not using stuff!

Sold 2 trailers and a boat so far. Going to give away one more truck. My yard was getting full!

What's the old saying?? The two best days in a boat owners life. 1 the day he buys the boat, the other the day he sells it!!..............................Oh and congrats on the down sizing.

Nope!

Actually...... I would rather play with the grandchildren and be available to watch them then be away!

Ever since I was blessed with grandchildren.....the toy's have been neglected!

Bob i have done the same thing. i'm down to 2 operating boats in the yard, and the Chris Craft in Daytona. looking for another project boat.

I know what you mean... My list of things that need fixing and maintaining has been growing. At some point you spend more time maintaining than using. Then it's time to downsize unless you can afford to have someone else do all the maintaining for you (which I can't).
