I know this is a stupid question but -- Is an OMC 120 inboard/outboard model #990235M, a 2 stroke or a 4 stroke engine? This is in Starcraft boat my old man got at an auction. Sorry don't know the year.
Hey, Phurn!<br /><br />Depends on how old it is. Back in the '60s OMC used their 120V4 2 stroke powerhead as an I/O powerplant, both single and dual.<br /><br />I wouldn't expect to see many of those around, but your Dad ("old man" is not very respectful) just may have found one.<br /><br />Find someone who knows a 2 stroke V4 when they see it and have them look at it.<br /><br />Good luck.
