six strokes are nowhere near new technology, they have been around for a hundred years, are 40% more efficient than a 4-stroke, about the same weight and manufacturing cost, and can be easily converted from 4 stroke engine designs with different timing and the addition of a distillied water tank and injectors. they also do not require a raw water or closed cooling system.

Then why isn't it a viable product NOW? Is it like the electric cars of the early 1900's that no one ever improved on the technology? Or is it Big Oil repressing the better tech so we have to buy more gas? If it's a better product, why isn't it on the market since we seem to be in a fuel crisis

I have been in the engine biz for over 30 years. The last 10 I have been involved with R & D of emerging engine technologies. While it is very difficult to break into this market with new technologies, there are no artificial barriers. If it isn't commercialized, it probably sucks . . . there is no invention stopping bogey man.
