In a reply to my previous post above, after being on the water again this weekend, it seemed like 4000-4100rpm was a better engine to noise vs speed range. Fast enough to cruise, but not taxing the engine too much, plus saving some fuel I would imagine also.

Hey wakeboarderdude -
What kind of motor and prop are you running? Do you know if your prop is cupped? Just wondering cause I am going to get my prop repitched and I wasn't sure if I should go with 15" or 14" pitch. It is currently a 16" 4 blade that is cupped and I am only getting 4000 rpm's. Motor is rated 3900-4300.
