Hi, short time lurker but my first ever post. I have a 1998 Bayliner Capri 1950, with a 3.0 and raw water cooling. I run mainly in salt water and am thinking of installing a closed cooling system. My problem is which one to order. Does anyone know if there is enough room for the heat exchanger to mount on the front top of the engine or will I need the one with a remote mount? I assume both will work the same but the engine mount one is cheaper. Thanks for any info you may have

It's been running in salt for 23 years. Forget putting closed cooling on. Salt has already (after about 20 hours) leached int the metal pores of the block, head and manifold. Adding a heat exchanger now with just lead to problems.
