3.0 coil update

my motor has the ols style coils now, im being told they reg go bad, is the updated 827509a12 a better setup or dont go bad as often? anything else need changed going to updated coils, is there any performace gains?

Nope and the CDI 114-7509K1 kit should fit and cheaper than Merc...

thanks, do you think id be better off getting the updated coils? know where i can get a cheap used scan tool for this motor?

Yes ...cause the others are going to fail sooner or later.

Dont need one as puter is dumb and dont store codes...
