Seeking info on 3.0 engine replacement, I have a 3.0 Mercrusier engine that is blown and would like to replace it with a 3.0 Cobra engine. The Corba has a Omc outdrive / Mercrusier outdrive for the Mercrusier engine. I purchased the extra boat for the parts and the Cobra engine appears to be the same model as the Mercrusier-not sure about the flywheel and other outboard attachments. Can this Cobra be mated to Mercrusier outdrive without any problems or would it require to many changes to fool with.........Thks
