3.0 GS "ding" sound in engine while starting

I get a loud bing/ding in the engine while trying to start the engine, not sure if anyone knows what it is. The engine does start however it just don't sound right

Can you be more descriptive?

A Valve that is stock closed will make a very loud snap sound

A starter can make a sort of whine sound

a broke Motor mount can cause a noise

Loose belts can could really strange

I once saw a bad carb gasket sound like an alarm going off

sounds like it coming from the top of the engine. Kind of a bell like sound
