I have a OMC Freedom 180 with a 3.0 litre gm engine in it. The boat is a 1992 but made to replace engine 3 years ago with a new base engine. Recently the alternator belt was totally destroyed. No idea of width or length. What is the part number or replacement number of the belt that I would need to replace it? Is there a difference between marine and automotive belts? The boat doesn't have power steering. Thanks in advance.

An automotive v-belt will work fine. Take the old one to Napa and have them match it up.

Thanks for the info. I'll go to NAPA for the cross referance.
