Have an opportunity to buy a mid eighties 3.0 mercruiser crank for my early eighties140, but before I jump in with both feet, need to know if they are in fact compatible. I've read there's a larger flywheel for the later model 181 Cubic inch engines, which also requires a larger bell housing. Any help appreciated.......
