Thats the fuel line coming off the fuel pump . You say it is an oil leak? That is a flare fitting for the pressure side of fuel pump. Would just try snugging it up.
if it is oil not gas would think you have oil leaking out from where pump attaches to the block or the diaphragm in the pump as there will be some oil on top of the upper diaphragm in the pump

would make sure there is no fuel in the yellowish tygon 1/4” tube coming off the fuel pump up to carb

you can try snugging it up see if it goes away. instead of replacing one of the carb shops i buy parts from sells these copper flare washers like these

been amazed at how easy they seal up older flare fittings

i took it apart and noticed a rubber plug like gasket inside the nut that looked a little worn. i cleaned it all up and snugged it all back together. seemed to make it worse. ill try what you posted and see how that does.

Its a flare fitting, as mentioned, but does not (if appropriate) require an o ring. The fitting normally seats when the brass trunion is torqued accordingly.

The flared portion of the fuel line seats to the intake fitting of the carburetor when the hex style fitting/trunion is torqed accordingly.....

Edited for, " repeat much?"

And I don't mean that in a passive aggressive way, this is the internet after all
