3.0l cobra seized?

I posted at the w/e re my 1988 Cobra coming to an abrupt halt after overheating badly. Just wanted to ask about this.When I lifted the engine cover I noticed oil lying on the surface of the exhaust manifold just alongside the carb. Asked about it today someone mentioned that could be an oil supply blockage and the oil has been forced up somewhere it should not have. Any ideas.

Probably a lot of blowby coming from that tube going to the valve cover and should be attached to the flame arrestor.
