3.0L - Need to replace Rocker Stud and Push Rod

I think I overtightened a rocker or tightened it at the wrong cam timing, unless the valve froze up for some reason.

I just replaced the head about 10 hours (run-time) ago. Last time I took it out I had a load noise from the top end and found that the first rocker tip actually fell off the valve and was banging on the cover.

The rod was bent and there is a 1/8 inch groove wore into the rocker stud.

Can the rocker stud be replaced while on the motor or is this pressed in and I'm SOL?

I went ahead and pulled the head and it's going to the machine shop.

Valve was not bent or seized, so I must of overtightened it and it bent the push rod, wore the rocker stud, and mushroomed the end of the valve.

If you over tightened the stud, the engine wouldn't have run. The valve stuck for a short peroid and pulled the stud while bending the push rod. You've got a leaking manifold.
