I took the magnets off since I did the alternator conversion and now I have a shake. Removed by Mod - not permitted. have a good workaround? I have also read that taking out the magnets is no issue. I am getting a good vibration at most RPM's

That's what I was afraid of when I did mine. Figured if it's not broken don't mess with them. You could try to re-epoxy them back in if you still have them. Kohler engines have a similar charging system and some have a problem with them falling off. Here is a video from Taryl fixing them on a Kohler engine. He's a small engine repair guy that makes goofy videos, but he knows his stuff. I'd give it a shot.

I took it back off and removed any and all remnants of epoxy with a MAP torch. Less vibration and I am going to deal with it for now. Love taryl
