3 blade propeller vs 4 blade

i have a 1989 bayliner capri with a 5.8L omc cobra
currently i have a 3 blade propeller
i was wondering what is the difference between 3 blades and 4 blades
in terms of performance and speed of the boat

To state it very basically; a 4 blade will improve low to mid range performance and handling.Will also resist venting better than the typical 3 blade.In some cases it will
lower top end a little but I have seen some that improved top end,usually because top end was lacking in the first place.

For my boat it dramatically lowered the RPM that I am at when the boat is planing. I love my 4 blade...and do not plan to go back to a 3 blade..ever.
