I'm probably in the wrong spot, but what is a 1967 Johnson folding model worth? No carrying case.

Re: 3 HP folding model

I just bought one for $80 with the carrying case, but that was a steal. I've seen them go for $300-400 on Ebay in very good condition. Depends a lot on the area of the country and time of year. Stuff sells cheap here in Michigan due to poor economy, and this time of year you can pick up some good deals.

Re: 3 HP folding model

Hi R. Johnson. I saw one on c-list in my neck of the woods (N. FL) the other day for about $200 running w/out case. that seems about right, assuming it actually runs and can still fold/unfold. i think a lot of the price has to do with it's novelty, so you could probably get it for less if you do some negotiating. good luck.

Thanks for the replies, that 3 HP for $80! That would be a real buy.

Yup - cleaned/rebuilt the carb, put on new fuel lines, put in a new impeller and changed the gear oil, and she runs like a brand new motor!
