3 hp gamefisher...isolated the problem, but......

I posted a week ago that a 3 hp gamefisher(Tanaka) that i purchased on ebay wasnt working properly. I have taken the little thing apart and found that the bearing in the clutch case is in serious need of replacement. Heres the problem:<br /><br />Does anyone know how to remove the clutch shaft (Part #38 from service manual) from the clutch base (part #42)? I have been staring at it for days....I'm ready to take a sledge hammer to it.<br /><br />Please help.<br /><br />Dry-docked in Miami

Hi Csaps<br />Sorry I can't help you with your shaft problem. I understand your frustration, and I know a sledge will surely fix it once and for all. How ever patience is a virtue in these cases. Someone may be along any time with an answer. If not just chill for a few days then start again. You will figure it out, take your time. good luck.
