This is my problem when i try to go full throttle my engine starts to miss like it is starving for fuel. it will idle all day when i hand line i can run 3/4 speed no problem it is just when i try to open it up all the way is when the problem occurs. also if i crank the handle to full throttle out of the hole it will miss unless i back it down and it takes me longer to get on plane any suggestions anyone is the fuel pump going bad?

The way to check your fuel pump is when it starts to miss or won't get to top end is to squeeze your primer bulb a few times. This overrides the fuel pump. My bet is you have dirt in your carbs.

Fuel restriction most likely it is just a matter of where. As said try squeezing the primer bulb and see if it picks up. If not give the carbs a service.

thanks for the replies very helpful once i get the shrink wrap off and the ice quits coming down the river i will give it a try but i think i will give carb a good cleaning before i dump it in also i almost forgot i did run sea foam thru it last year but did not help it
