30 hp johnson year???

Does anyone know how to find the year for my 30 hp johnson? the number on the plate reads;
C8202706
or possibly
C8232706... I am not certain, on the one number, it is a little worn. Any help would be appreciated.

That is the serial number, Mark. We need the Model number to determine year model.

where do i find that? This is all that was readable from the plate on the trim bracket.
