I've been 2 seasons trying to figure out how to remove this non-working fridge in the 3007 Carver Galley..
I see no screws anywhere, no trim to remove....i'm lost!!!!
The fridge is built into a box that is in that protrudes into the engine compartment..i've crawled around in there still can't see how to get it out....
Anyone?? Anyone??? Please help.....I'm begging LOL

If you look closely, at the very top of the fridge there is a piece of wood trim...i've removed that thinking it would expose some more screws....i see nothing....that as far as i can tell is a gap hider between top of fridge and railing/floor of salon....

Get the name, mfg and model of your fridge and go to the mfgs site for installation details.

It should show you all the mounting points as well as the cables that need to be undone.

It looks like you could just pull it straight out from the pictures, it doesn't appear to be "mounted" in there. But that's what it looks like from the pic.

Looks like a Norcold refrigerator, and they usually had screws around the outer edge of the flange under the edge of the door. They may have plastic caps over the screw heads.

Yeah..you would think...
No plastic caps, or screws on the front of this fridge, on the flange or behind the door...
Maybe i'm just missing them...
But it is definitely a norcold...

Believe me....i've looked....and consider myself to be quite handy....still stumped!!

DE-490

Above is likely the model of the fridge...obviously a lot older....but looks identical!!
I can't see in the manual mounting instructions..

If it is a DE-490, that is a free standing fridge. So no surround flange to find. Carver often attaches a flange to where the
original legs were, and screws it into the floor.

Slip Away<<<< I'll bet you are on to something here...
I have searched high and low for screws everything....
Everywhere but from the bottom of the cabinet...
Wonder how they have this assembled??? hmmmm.....guess i'll be crawling into the engine room to have a look!
I'm assuming somehow they just screwed it in to the legs...
The other thing....if i shine a flash light into the crack above the fridge...i can see something, can't tell what is going on there....any chance they'd drive screws right into the top on the fridge ???

There should be a plastic Trim strip on the sides that come off Just put one in this past season. Can't remember weather you see the strip when you open the door. (Vertical)

EDIT: I Google d your model and it is free standing with no mounting flange. Is there legs on the bottom like a home frig would have? See if they aren't adjustable.

Yup .. without a doubt they would screw right into the fridge casing.

Your on track with going into the engine room and look for fasterners.

Probably only a few ( you might need a right angle drill to get them out ). Just Dont strip the heads .. get a solid grip on them before you unscrew.

YD.
