Does anyone have experience with any of these waterproofing products as they pertain to use on boat carpets? I bought a small container of scotchgard and sprayed on a test sample of carpet. It lightened it up a bit and made it a tad stiffer than it was before, but that is the extent of my experience. Anyone with actual experience (good and/or bad) please chime in.

Good question. Hope someone chimes in. I need to waterproof my covers. I did buy some 303, but haven't been able to try it yet.

Why would you try to waterproof boat carpet? Marine carpet is made to get wet.

Not for the purpose of waterproofing, just stain repellant
