30HP Mariner Shutsdown After Run.

My 30 HP Mariner starts well. I go up to WOT and cruise maybe a mile and I start to hear the rpm's drop slowly until it shuts down. It usually starts again after 15 minutes. Telltale streams ok its seems. But it always quits after sometime. I noticed my cowling was rather hot this morning while being towed back...any comments or suggestions would be apreciated!
