hi everyone I have a 10 spline 30hp mariner(Yamaha) that has a banged up aluminum prop that is in need of changing this year. I have a 1979 1648 riveted Lowe Jon(mod v) I'm currently installing an hydraulic atlas micro jacker(waiting on clamp on bracket) and need a prop that's going to plane out a load well and work well near the surface(+cup,+rake) also looking for all around good speed for the longer trips. If anyone can point me in the right direction of what to buy I would greatly appreciate it. Looking to spend under 200 bucks. Thanks

Are you shure it's a rebadged Yam and not a Tohatsu model ? To dial best prop performer need to tach current prop no matter if banged but 101% operative on a wot run as currently loaded, that's with an induction tach. Blind prop forum recommendations, suggestions doesn't work.. Anyway which prop pitch is it, if it were a rebadged Tohatsu should have a 13 pitch...which doesn't dial top wot rpm.

Buy a Hardline Tach/Hour model HR-8061-2, install it and go for a water test, report achieved max wot rpm as currently loaded, then can go from there for a prop maximization.

Happy Boating
