My project, baby 1974 Starcraft Super Sport -18'
Had her since 1976, replaced 105 with 125.
Many years in Salt Water environment. Gotta keep 'er clean.
Use for scuba diving mostly these days since kids are grown but caught a ton of fish out of her.

Have replaced flooring twice.
Retro fitted dash with Teak.
Expanded front area / platform to accommodate a swivel fishing seat and pedestal.

I built a deck across back for salt water fishing and other conveniences.

Use two large coolers for storage and seats.
I push them under the dash to make much more room for salt water fishing.

Great boat! I just got a '76 SS. They are definitely versatile boats. What's in the boxes you have built up and over the splashwell?

Great boat! I just got a '76 SS. They are definitely versatile boats. What's in the boxes you have built up and over the splashwell?

Under the removable platform and behind the sliding doors are my battery, an 18 gal plastic fuel tank, spare 1.5 gal fuel tank, hose for 4 hp engine (kicker drop plate on other side of engine) for flats fishing, 2 cycle oil, anchor, additional flotation, couple of life preservers, ropes, fire extinguisher.
have rod holders built in for trolling or running bewteen fishing spots.

I have four rod holders, 2 screw into back platform for trolling and 2 attach to the front rails for drift fishing. Probably caught 2000 - 3000 lbs of fish out of my little baby over the years. Just guessing.

Coolers: hold tons of gear, ski ropes, life vests, ski vests, tools, fishing gear ..refreshments. Work well for seats except when in rough waters off shore.

When I 'm fishing and or scuba diving I push them forward under the dash to give me more room for tanks and gear...

Additional stowage under under front deck for ropes, life vests, anchors.
Got a nice little boom box that fits perfectly under the front bow.

Wished I used it more. Used to use it quite a lot. Just coming out of a 2 year drought here in Central TX.
