Oh, and I’ve confirmed with another mechanic, water press I’m showing is way too high, 12-15 normal. Impeller is rated for 20 psi max (according to him).

I'm getting around 25 psi with a mechanical gauge, and we all agree if your pressure is accurate, then its way to high.

Don't think you need a new housing, just needs cleaning out with some other areas

With those pressures it appears to me that you may have a head gasket problem. In the Incoming water hose between the fuel cooler and Thermostat housing there is a plastic connecter that has a check valve , I once found water pump impeller blades stuck inside on my Donzi.

Alright, I’ve searched and searched to no avail...how do I inspect the manifolds on my motor? Do I have to remove them or can I snake a camera somewhere to inspect? It appears I don’t have elbows to pull off, unless I’m mistaken. Forgive my ignorance. Looks like I can go in with camera via temp sensor port or there are two bolt plugs in front I can take out?

The port side hose doesn't look right, back up and take another pic so we can see more of the routing. Also post one from each side

You circled the oxygen sensor that is on the gas side. Just above is a pipe plug remove and you will see the top of the manifold cooling passage. I would remove your riser, all the water exits at the top, you could be blocked there but i doubt it. Look up the manifold on a parts diagram and riser and see the ports.

Did this boat used to have a fresh water cooled system and now has raw water ?

Sorry all, I was away on a long trip. Wanted to post again to close the loop. As a poster suggested, I changed out the poppet valve and spring after a long wait for out of stock parts, and left it with marina They ran it for an hour, ran fine. Water pressure normal range, no low block pressure warning, no guardian mode. They checked for codes, nothing. I told them, run it again for an hour, I want to be sure. They did, ran fine....

So, I’m assuming it was the poppet valve, maybe stuck open? Bleeding water pressure???

Anyway, she runs, I’m back on the water. Thanks again.
