20160524_082842.jpg 20160524_082831.jpg I have a 1994 350 Magnum and am wondering how many fuel filters there are and the location? I have attached a picture of my fuel pump and wondering if there is one in there?
Thank You

Hi, welcome to iboats.

What year is your engine? Have a engine serial number handy by chance.

There isn't going to be a filter inside the fuel pump itself. Typically there is one water separating fuel filter in the general location of the fuel pump that looks like an oil filter. Here's an image of the fuel system for you to go by if needed, http://www.mercruiserparts.com/bam/subassembly/31778/937/70

If you're having fuel delivery issues to the carburetor, then there's also a smaller filter at the carburetor inlet fuel line too. Here's just an example to show you without having your engine year/serial number to know if it's the right one for you. See item number 8, http://www.mercruiserparts.com/bam/subassembly/31778/937/90

Will the performance be affected if the filter is missing? It looks like on mine the fuel line enters the carb on the starboard side and there's no filter in that line.

You have to remove the fuel line first, then unscrew the large nut .If you removed the fuel line and the nut there should have been a nylon mesh filter and a spring.
the 2 bbl and rochester use a filter , the weber i`m not sure about.

I have the Weber 4 bbl and didn't see a filter after removing the large nut. My Seloc manual says sometimes there's a filter on the line at the tank. I'll look. Thanks for your help.

With the Weber carb there isn't a filter at the carb. You will only have one water separating canister filter which FT mention in post 3. Here is your carb breakdown for the carb

The only thing that will be at the tank is the antisiphone valve. It is a barbed fitting which has a spring and ball inside it
