350 Vortec coulping

I am repowering from a 250ci L6 165 to a 350 Vortec,the flywheel cover matches up OK (this is a MC1 drive) my engine supplier tell me the coupling has a differant bolt pattern to the Vortec what would be the best way around this to keep the spline at the correct distance so the shaft from the drive is at the place,Can the coupling be machined to fit,my engine guy is a 2 hour drive from me I will not be able to get a look at it till next week

Ayuh,.... You need a Sierra part# 18-2172....

It's the conversion coupler, for Just that application...

I believe iboats carries 'em....

Napa does too, but I doubt they're down under...

Thanks mate,so it;s not possible to re drill the bolt pattern?

Ayuh,.... I don't think there's enough flange to work with, 'n still have any strength left...
